Christian Singles Greenville
Welcome to the premier site for Christian singles in Greenville. This is where you want to be to find new friends, new ways to have fun, and certainly a few dates. When it comes to looking for love in your town, it can get a bit tricky. No one place is the perfect place to go, because sometimes it’s more about knowing where you come from, not where or how you meet. South Carolina is the home of James Brown, Brookgreen Gardens’ sculpture collection, and a lot of fascinating people just waiting to meet you.
History was made in and around South Carolina. Few people don’t know about the Swamp Fox, but did you know that the palmetto tree helped save the fort at Sullivan’s Island? Or how about the fact that the first European settlers ever stopped and stayed in an area near Georgetown? Colonists and war feature often in the history of South Carolina, but that doesn’t mean the state hasn’t moved forward or grown. South Carolinians are stronger than ever because of everything they’ve lived through.
Greenville started out as Pleasantville, until the name was changed in 1831, but it didn’t become a true city until 1869. Soon it was the textile center of the world and the area was a training center during World War I. Today it’s hard to miss Falls Park in the West End, which was likely where Greenville was born. Downtown Greenville’s renovations were designed by Lawrence Halprin, an architect from New York. He must have done a very good job, because Greenville has earned space in magazines that spoke about how beautiful it is.
As you look for love in the upcoming weeks, be sure to ask who the other person roots for on game days. It’s hard enough disagreeing about what to have for dinner–cheering for the wrong team could lead a couple to disaster. Imagine wearing a USC jersey while your other half slips into something from Clemson. Game days are nothing to mess with right now, especially not when a romantic date could be on the line.
When there isn’t a game on, South Carolina is a great place to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. The Appalachian foothills provide miles of gorgeous hiking trails and opportunities to go biking. The hot summers just beg for a swim in the pool, but if you want you could take a weekend and go out to the coast. South Carolina has beautiful beaches, as you most likely know, and being out on the sand is one of the easiest ways to get rid of the stress of your everyday life.
When it comes to dating, being from the same city can help you click faster than if you both happened to love Will Ferrell movies. This week, instead of wondering what to do, think about how awesome Greenville is. Grab some grub and a new friend, and breathe in the beauty that is the South. There are many other people doing just the same thing. So, if you're a Christian, single, and living in Greenville, you've come to the right place to find others like you.
