Wyoming has something to offer to everyone.  For individuals, there are outdoor sports of all kinds.  For the rest of the world, such as businesses, there are many opportunities for industry.  As one of the windiest cities in North America, Cheyenne is the ideal place to glean wind energy.   Trees tend to lean the way that the wind blows, but wind turbines gather up all that power and send it across the country.  Other things Cheyenne has given the world include Neil Diamond, who lived in the city while his father served in the military, country music artist Chris LeDoux, and Olympian John Godina.

You can hardly be a true Wyoming local if you haven’t been to Frontier Days.  It’s a celebration of the Wild West and everything cowboy.  There are parades and rodeos, and all it takes is ten days to get a community to mix in with thousands of visitors from coast to coast.  During the day you can see cowboys strut their stuff, and at night talented musicians take the stage for entertainment after dinnertime.

Aside from Frontier Days, there is always something to do in the great outdoors.  Wyoming is one of those underrated states that tends to get forgotten, but once you step inside you are privy to some beautiful mountains, granite formations, and more.  Go into the national parks for a hike through the wilderness, or take a walk in the past inside Fort Laramie or the Wyoming Territorial Prison.  This giant stone building was once the holding place for outlaws such as Butch Cassidy, and now you can tour the same jail cells that held some of the West’s most notorious trouble makers.

One of the best things about living in a smaller city is being able to actually know the people around you.  If your dog decides to stroll away from home, there’s a high chance that someone will find the fuzzy runaway and get him home for you.  Instead of using Yelp to tell you everything, you can simply stop someone on the side of the road to find out where to get the best bison burger.

There is no time like the present to begin meeting new people, whether they become friends or someone special.  People in other cities spend their entire lives trying to meet some friends who are worth the trouble, but here in Cheyenne you’re completely surrounded by great folks. So, if you're a Christian, single, and living in Cheyenne, you've come to the right place to find others like you.
