Christian Singles Birmingham & AL Dating
Welcome to the premier site for Birmingham Christian dating for Christian singles in Birmingham. Alabama’s largest city is packed with history and life, which is probably why you live here. Can you even imagine living anywhere else? Some of the best restaurants and entertainment are in this gem of the Deep South.
Finding someone to love is more than discovering a person who shares your sense of humor. It’s about finding a person who really, truly identifies with the core of who you are–and living in Birmingham plays a huge part in that. Maybe knowing that the state bird is the Yellow Hammer and the state flower is the Camellia doesn’t ring with the tinkling bells of romance, but those facts are still a part of who you are.
How could anyone not appreciate the history of the city they live in? Think of Willie Mays, Jesse Owens, and Hank Aaron, all of whom hail from Alabama. These sports greats have molded the way that Birmingham is viewed, and they stand as a testament to how greatly your city can influence who you are.
There are very few high school students who haven’t been touched by the power from the pen of Harper Lee, whose Pulitzer-Prize-winning novel To Kill a Mockingbird placed her forever in the halls of great Alabamians. Her home in Monroeville is farther south, but her influence has gone world-wide. Alabama is home to so much history that just listing all of the phenomenal people and events that came from this state would take several pages.
Nat King Cole was born in Montgomery, and he went on to be one of the first African Americans to host his own TV show. His music now sits in homes all over the world, and anyone who comes from or lives in Alabama can share a bit of pride in that piece of history.
Many firsts have come from Alabama, too. Think of Rosa Parks – without her refusal to give up her seat, who knows where civil rights would have gone. Change just needs one person to get moving, and though Rosa wasn’t alone in the fight, the icon of her bus ride that day spread hope and empowerment all over the nation. After years of protests and the changing of the social conscience, Rosa and the Montgomery Bus Boycott launched the Civil Rights Movement into a new wave of success.
If any of this state pride resonates with you, then this is the place to be. Find people who love you not only for your quirks, but who can really identify with how much you love your home and the South. Love isn’t always easy, but it gets better when you can date people with the same values. It just makes sense to look for love in the right place–at home. So, if you're a Christian, single, and living in Birmingham, you've come to the right place to find others like you.
